Please remember that there was uproar when steve and fiona left, but, we are liking and watching what the writers know we will like. So i honeslty think there will be no major problems there as the whole series so far has been hilarious. (although i dont want them to leave! lol) I personally say more of lip n mandy! will they wont they? And obvioulsy you can never get enoughh of the philosophic Frank!!!

hmmmi think it did go massively downhill after series two though. Series 3 was nowhere near as original and was just tasteless in places.
Veronica made the show for me (state of you, you fat tw@t- series one, episode one!!! ) and it will not be the same without her at all. But i must admit, i love martyMARTY's character!
With all of those ready developed characters, writers are spoiled for choice when it comes to writing an episode of Shameless. If your seriously telling me that you can't see Shameless being any good with all of those characters still in it then your idiotic. Shameless still has massive potential for future series, far more potential than any other programme on British TV. To end it now would be a travesty and a completely ridiculious decision.
New characters can also be created, Paul Abbott created everyone of the characters we've grew to love from scratch and he can create more to keep us laughing our backsides off.

To be honest the show will not be the same without Kev & V but it was actually Veronicas choice to leave the show at what she called its peak. I think Kev would have continued (I don't think he gets as much work) anyways they made the bloody show especially Veronica. I can't stand Mandy and her pikey family and I don't think focussing on her and lip will make the show that much better! Fiona & Steves departure didn't really make that much difference when they left altho I did miss them. I love Shamless and thanks to Teleport TV on Telewest I was able to watch back to back series 1-3 it's brilliant!!!
It will be fine without them! Shameless has fine scripts and actors, people move on in real life so it makes sense in drama too!

wahhh i loved kev he looks just like my long term occasional gentleman caller! Shameless reminds me of Teachers, in that, some of the best characters move on but it manages to change and develop. Though I still miss the original cast!

Well in episode 2 he isn't in it and Stan has a new sidekick, so I doubt he will be back either. I was gutted that Kev and Veronica were not coming back, but I honestly didn't miss them. Series 3 was a dissapointment to me, but 4 is far better so far. Also where the hell did Marty and Sue go in episode 2, have they left too??
