And why not? (I don't mean this as criticism of your remark!)
I know a number of people of that age, and well over, who wouldn't miss Shameless.
Some are professionals who see it, not just, as entertainment, but as an interesting commentary on lifestyles. Some have, in their work, met and assisted characters who, while not quite so over the top, are near mirror images of characters from Shameless.

did you read this whole thread dro3ck? its just i thought i was the oldest in here,if you look back. thats why dub dave said that,i now see theres a wide age that watch the show.
