I'm thinking of buying shameless series 1 on dvd as I've never watched it. Is it anything like skins? The humour I mean?

In my opinion, they are not alike atall. I am personally not a fan of skins. Each to their own

hay haylo girl,im also not a fan of skins myself but i would advise getting shameless series 1 on dvd it is brilliant if you liked series 2 and 3 wich im cure you did u wont be dissapointed.series 1 is my favourite,actually sod it i love them all lol.

I dont really think that shameless is anything like skins...if you like skins then you will looove shameless because personally I would say shameless is miles better...it has a sexier cast, mentioning no names (carl) lol and um...yeh I would personally say shameless is better

they are similar, kind of...

the drama on shameless is much more gripping, the characters are much more developed and likeable and great, and the comedy on shameless is out of this world. Get all the series, not just one. and get into it and see what you think, its great honestly.

I'm not really big on skins either...not my thing...unlike shameless!..xx

If you havent got series 1 of shameless then WHY THE HECK NOT ? lol
