WOW im sooooo excited!!!!! in the sun tv mag its got all about the shows that are on at christmas and theres a picture of the new years special in shameless(you can see frank & ian & a bit of lip)! this it what it says: Here's a behind-the-scenes shot of David Threlfall who plays Frank, and Gerard Kearns, who plays his son ian, filming the first episode of series 3 of Shameless. The 8 part run, which starts on channel 4 in early january, kicks off with a 90 minute special in the New Year, when the gallaghers see in 2006 at their local. "Its a cracking opener. Everything snowballs out of control", says a show insider. The rest of the series follows on from the special. Look out for Lip becoming a dad, Ian's heart being broken and Sheila getting married in a vallium-fuelled ceremony that promises to be the wedding of the century.
