No not in a million years im loving it as much as ever .. the thing is people dont like change so that means when a few good characters go they get a bit fed up.. i think Paul Abbot is still a genius

I dont want it to end, However with all good TV shows they must come to an end and ar usuall short lived aswell, If you look at Fawlty Towers one of the funniest comedies ever made, yet only 12 episodes every produced..Shameless has done well, although I think we'll find that it's going to end soon and the makers ill concentrate on "Skins" and other Productions..
It will be a sad occasion in my house, however I have all the box sets stored so I can watch over and over again till my heat is content..
I THINK THAT SHAMELESS IS MINT EVEN WIHTOUT FIONA, STEVE, AND CO BUT IF FRANK LEFT THAT WOULD BE THE END OF SHAMELESS, HE MAKES IT! BUT WHERE HAS MARTY AND SUE GONE? I REALLY MISS THEM!
I'm not sure... I mean I love the show, but I'm not sure how many other storylines they can cover, (because they've done loads of modern issues, and well), without it becoming too far-fetched...

correct me if im wrong but they left after the 1st ep, they were going to keep kev and veronicas baby and sue said they were having one of their own ???? but there has been no mention of them since
Like I said before, I think your forgetting about the logic of keeping this show going, I doubt there'll be more than another 2 series.
Is not feasible to continue such a good show for so long otherwise the hype will decrease, Paul Abbot will want to go out on a high and not an everlasting TV Show that goes to the pits as they dont have anymore storylines..It will have been one of the best things on Television since Sliced Bread was invented but it will go and as we're on our 5 series, it wont be long either..
There are still storys in the pipeline obviously with many of you talking about the Marty and Sue ones and Kev & Veronica, so I reckon these will be the ones tha finalize the Shameless Era with everyone come back for the end shows..

I think you'll find that Paul Abbott has stated on numerous occasions that he detests this going out on 'a high' attitude in the British television industry that he says shows a "distinct lack of ambition". In an interview i heard with him on the radio he also stated they are hoping to do at LEAST two further "consecutive" series, each being sixteen episodes long.
He also stated in that same interview that he will never give any Shameless series a definitive ending that would prevent it returning again in the future.
The 'hype' regarding Shameless has increased every series, as have the viewing figures. I think your being overly negative here, the future looks great for Shameless.
