Elliott works on Shameless, Luke works on Emmerdale. Yes, they did share the role of Carl, but only for series 1.
So yes, identical twins, though probably not so identical these days. Elliott looks a bit taller, and slightly older than Luke, in my opinion.
Please ignore Antho's ridiculous negativity. He must have a sense of humour on par with a 90 year old man. The E4 episode was brilliant, a real classic and from the next time preview the episode after that one looks even better. I strongly urge you not to miss it.
I think last nights episode on e4 was the strongest one this series, other than the third episode of course. I'm quite enjoying the developing relationship between Jamie and Karen. But the highlight last night was Monica's expliantion of what her and Norma were doing. :P And of course, when Carl asks 'where did Brendon migrate too?' and Lillian answers so matter of factly 'my fanny'. LOL.

I rather enjoyed it. Loved the Maguires with Karen. Cracked me up the wya they just left her so they could go get a pint. Funniest bit had to be when Mimi and Paddy turned up on that guys doorstep to get the van back lol
