I know Skins is written by the same people as Shameless...but I personally prefer Shameless! And this poll is also to clear up the amount of people asking if Skins is anything like Shameless...I am going to prove that Shameless is much better So get voting everyone XxXxX

Skins is made by the same company that produces shameless. Apart from George Faber and Charlie Pattinson (the executive producers, who's company it is) the only other name that has worked on both is Jack Thorne, who writes for Skins and wrote one ep for series 4 of Shameless.

I watched the first episode of Skins - I thought it was ok, but I didn't really feel I had room in my life for it! To be honest I thought it was a bit of a yawn in a been there done that, got the t-shirt kind of way. I can see how skins would appeal to youngsters for whom drugs are still a novelty. Shameless on the other hand is awesome.

I haven't seen Skins but I have been told that Shameless is better
