she does infact have a well spoken southern accent, you can hear her using her natural voice during the interview with debbie and carl on the series 1 DVD Big Grin

not many of the cast have Manc accents. Lip,Ian and Veronica are more Lancastrian. Frank,Debbie,Karen and Kev have the proper Manc accents,
