wen shameless 1st started in series 1 lip was 15 years old. if u go 2 a normal secondary school, you leave school after your g c s es at age 16. in series 3 lip should b 17- beacuse he was 15 in series 1, but at the begging of series 3 he is still weraing his school uniform. 1 episode later he is working and not in school? we didnt see him doing his exams or anying.

in series 4 ep 1 lip is celebrating his 18th, wen he finds out hes actually 19. asif. to get into primary school, you have 2 have a birth certificate. so he should of had his right dob on that. if not asif monica or frank (i no hes an alcky)would forget that he was 1 years old instead of a new born wen they went to get him registered.

just noticed what you said about Lip being 19.
Monica and Frank didn't register his birth until a year after he was born, and he therefore didn't have a birth certificate until he was technically 'one'. They registered him as a new born though he infact was not.

just the gardening comp which some one has already said where it was all back to normal the epi after and carl was having an ashma attck in series 1 i think it was when it said whats coming up next week but then it never got shown not liek its a mistake just obvi didnt decide to include that bit

Dunno if this has been mentioned already, but I noticed on the last episode last night, when Paddy was talking about his deceased former prison mates, and he was having images of their corses, all of the toe-tags on their bodies had 17th or 23rd March 2007 - perhaps they anticipated the episode being aired much later on??

I noticed something. In last nights episode when the deaf girl screamed, she smashed everything even the thing that said Fergal and the years he lived ( it was like a mirror ) later on it was ok.

I dont know if they had more than one though.

Alot of the stuff they get away with in shameless u couldnt get away with in real life. I mean stealing a baby from romania or wherever bringin it to england, the police finding out about it, and then walking off with it scott free! i mean, really! but totally entertaining

again in the last episode at the beginning wen paddy was talking on the phone 2 sum 1 he shouted sumfing out about his 7 kids-????
his kids are: fergal, mandy, micky, shane, jamie, the 1 with the long hair that doesnt say anything and at least 3 others that were in earlier series. so how many has he got???

There have been 7 that have been mentioned by name, Mandy, Shane, Jamie, Mickey, Fergal, Donny and Joey. There have probably been a few different actors that have played the same character. Donny for example has been played by 3 different actors!
