hi, I'm doing my a level media project on shameless. I've set up this forum so that I can get some feedback from fans and a popular opinion. Do you believe that a lack of money means that the female characters also have a lack of femininity? I'm particularly interested in Mandy, Veronica and Norma. But any views on the other characters would also be useful!

Well da lil gallagher is quite feminine looking and behaves accordingly. Not sum white trash like mandy can appear to be at time.
On the other hand, the gallagher mom looks cheap and trashy so I would guess money does play in part in how we perceive females.
