He doesn't appear in any (new) clips on the titles and he wasn't in the second episode, so I think he may be a gone for the rest of the series!?!

I was having coffee in a bar in Leeds today and overheard to young girls also saying that 'LIP' has left and wont be returning.
which sparked a convo that it doesnt seem the same, something was missing last night.
Was it that the set is now a SET and not on a real estate?

Im not sure he will be a frequent character this series although i would expect everytime he is back it is because he is on a holiday/weekend. Nottingham isnt that far from Manny (well distance is relative, not far when compared to London).

I heard somewhere that Shameless now had a purpose built set (like Coronation St). When watching the first two episodes it seemed some of the outdoor shots/scenery were slightly different than previous years and it looked like some of the building/pavement work was quite recent/new?

the real chatworth estate has been nocked down and is gettin rebuilt or something so they cnt use it.

so i think bits are a set and bits are the newly done up estates.
