First, excuse me for my bad english but I'm french and french people are not realy good at foreign language... I've known Shameless last month. A french channel broadcasted serie 1 in december and since then I love it ! I've bought series 2, 3 and 4 but subtitles are in English... Sometimes, it's hard for me to understand all that happen. At the moment, I'm watching serie 3. I hope I'll soon see series 5

Hi! I'm a french fan too! I started watching shameless when I was living in England. It's brilliant. I have been watching the french version, but it's not so good. Better to watch it in english if you can (with subtitles). But I must admitt it is hard to understand sometimes, especially the guy who plays Patrick McGuire!
By the way, thanks to the people who put the episodes of series 5 on the web, we wouldn't be able to watch here it otherwise.

My english is better since I've been watching Shameless. some words or expressions are not in my dictionnary but I often guess what that mean... I'll ask to you if I need Cheers !
