I'm pretty sure that the scene was shot specially for the titles in the same way that the 'car bonfire' scene was.
If I recall correctly, the scene was about Frank giving Ian grief about his new trainers, questioning where he'd got the money from and suggesting that any cash he had spare should go to Frank. It escalated into an argument about whether or not the kids 'owe' Frank anything. Frank got a bit physical and Debbie stepped in.
The car bonfire scene was shot specially for the titles though, you're right about that.
I'm not doubting you, but where did you hear read this? I only ask because I've been a fan of the series since the start and I read everything I can about the show and I've never heard that before. Again, I'm not doubting you, I'm just interested.
