TRACY-Ann Oberman has landed her first major role since she quit EastEnders, playing a postman's girlfriend in new BBC1 drama Sorted.
The actress, best known as Dirty Den's murdering wife Chrissie, will play landscape gardener Amy in the series, which follows the lives and loves of six posties.
Mother-of-two Amy is the older woman in the life of Dex, played by Shameless hunk Dean Lennox Kelly. Meanwhile Bad Girls favourite Eva Pope will play Kathy, the wife of Neil Dudgeon's character Harry.
The pair have been married for 20 years but their lives are thrown into chaos when Kathy is involved in a bad car crash.
The series, set in Manchester, also stars Hugo Speer, Will Mellor, Mark Womack and Warriors star Cal Macainninch.
Producer Steven Light-foot said: "Each episode throws the spotlight on one of the central characters, interweaving the stories of the others."

cheers i'll try in get a hold of his movies first. bought mick bassett last week so i could see him in that and he was yummy but the film was a tad boaring.
