i wouldn't say rubbish, exactly. but tuesdays episode (20th feb), for me, was where 'shameless' went from being a biting social comedy, and crossed the line into farce. before, you could kind of recognise characters and situations, but now some of the characters/ situations have become too cartoonish to fully identify with.
the cops are funny, but they aren't believeable anymore. as for the female cop- damn, she's hot!
