Sheffield Shield Cricket standards must have fallen a lot in recent times if Tim Payne is scoring double hundreds. Every time ive seen him play in the one dayers, he hasnt been able to get the ball off the square.

Never heard of him. Who does he play for?
|

He plays for Tasmania. Was one of Australia's best under 19's players a couple of years ago, and people were calling him the next Ricky Ponting. Looks more like the next Katich.

According to http://www.cricketarchive.co.uk no-one with the name Tim Payne has ever played FC cricket in Australia...perhaps you're thinking of Percy Payne who played in the early 20th century?

It's almost 1.30am in Viva Lost Wages and I am drowning my sorrows. But does logging on for a quick look at the forum and seeing the above facts brighten things up. we're flyin' high......... I could listen to it forever and ever. BTW, welcome back Mister Bucket, knew you wouldn't be away for long. The catalyst for our flag? Coming from 54 pts down against the Cats.

NLWL and Bog have put on 100. NLWL also had a couple of Shield century stands with Swampy.
Nice.

Last 5 overs:

NLWL is putting in a bid to play for NZ.

the most interesting thing about this game is that rogers faiulure increases the likelihood that a dubber (frog) will partner MtB in the first test....Birt is up there with Cozzy in the running for a berth

I just bought Warney's book - I even got him to sign it:
"To JGK
The other Great Man"
He said he was feeling fit and ready for a big summer. Grouse.
