Lara's avg at home might well have been swelled but the fact that he is relatively weaker away remains true. No one comes near Dravid's away average. Here is another interesting comparison Ponting in Aus - 57 matches @ 62.91 Dravid in Aus - 8 matches @ 56.54 Dravid in Ind - 47 matches @ 51.52 Ponting in Ind - 8 matches @ 12.29! Now I am not quite sure if there are other factors (such as injuries) that Ponting had to worry about when he came to India. But that's a huge difference!
GO INDIA!

Chandan,
ARG stands for Antigua Recreation Ground. Its the ground where Lara scored 375 and 400*. And its the same ground which will not host a cricket match again, as its now been retired by WICB.

Not trying to undermine Ponting, but he was injured for just one tour of India ('04 one). His rest 2 tours to India were injury free, atleast officially.

I can think of just Steve Waugh (among the players that I've seen) batting with such tenacity!! Hence the name 'Mr Dependable' for him!

Yep, Steve Waugh was simply awesome on tough wickets against high class bowling.

So I'm yet to know the name of 5 batsmen who can conquer moving ball!

No one has the names?
Then let me say that only Dravid and to some extent Kallis can do it!!
