I certainly think so apart from his left handedness and his girly locks.

Bracken is a load of rubbish compared to Mcgraph.

Good for 10 overs maybe depending on the track. What about tests?

Ratingwise?

McGrath 9
Bracken 6.5

Fair enough. He's not the best test bowler.

You can not honestly put them in the smae league or even consider it,Mcgrath was the best ever fast bowler as shown by his stats.

Lillee was better than MCGrath.
Ask Clive Lloyd Viv Richards Tony Greig Ian Botham etc.

He could swing seam and bounce at 150 kmh with deadly accuracy.

Unfortunately, I never had the what would have been pleasure of seeing these all time greats, but Mcgrath was the best pace bowler I have ever seen in my time, He was alawys bang on and got the wickets, and if not hiom then at least there was Warne, But still I think Mcgrath was the best, It is probably because of his wickets and accuracy but there you go.

Your point is a generational one and hard to dispute.

I am a Lillee fan and so would you be be if you had seen the great man bowl.

Must admit I was just a kid.

The West Indian greats in order IMO only

Ambrose
Garner (nuisance value)you just couldn't score runs off him.
Roberts
Holding
Wasn't a great fan of Marshall (ugly bowler.)

From India's quicks.

Kapil Dev was up there with the rest of the world.

Pakistan?

Wasim Akram of course. Eek

Tricky bugger.

There will only ever be one McGrath. Also I would like to point something out that no other cricket expert here have ever discovered or acknowledged. The fact that McGrath got so may wickets as a QUICK bowler because he was one of the only quicks ever to actaually learn to modify his whole approach as he slowed down due to natural age. Like a good coach shows how an older golfer can get more out of his swing with less power and still have a low handicap...so too the fast bowler on a world stage. He listened to the coaches and did not do the Lillie..Thommo..thing and burn out bowling wildly all over the place. He got older...modified..developed newer grips..swung both ways "leave that one alone people" and decieved a lot more. That ammounted to lots of extra wickets late in the career.

Yeh I have always wondered about that, I know there are alot of other bowling quick greats, but as far as I am concerend they couldnt have been as great as they were made out to be, because if they were they would have had even more wickets then they did have, I can only see 2 fast bowlers who were clearly truly amazing, that were in my generation may I add, and they were Mcgrath and Walsh, of course the other only three members of the 500, no now 600 club are spinners and they all were and in the case of two still are modern day greats.
