Sri Lanka 97/0 (13.0 ov)

Recent overs . . . 4 1 . | 1lb . 6 6 6 1 | 6 . 1lb 1lb 4 . | . . 3 6 4 4

10.5 Mason to Jayasuriya, SIX, He is box office! Hat trick six! This one pulled over long leg. The arc from long-on to square-leg has been pinged. First one flew over long-on, next went screaming over midwicket and this one was deposited over deep square-leg. What a player!

10.4 Mason to Jayasuriya, SIX, The white ball is flying everywhere. This one is swung over deep midwicket. He just leant forward and non-chalantly swung it over the cow corner. This man is pure entertainment.

10.3 Mason to Jayasuriya, SIX, Wow! What a shot! Short of length, on the middle stump line, Jayasuriya short-arm-jabs it over mid-on. It ends up over long on!

What a gun

He's gone now.

I am a NZer, and I actually hoped he would keep going, that's how much I love watching him bat Smile

Adams used to be a good lower order hitter and a bowler who had a knack of getting wickets even though he went for a few runs.

Now, he just seems to go for runs. He won't make the first team for the world cup, unless he does something spectacular between now and then.

Big day for him with the bat. NZ have a tail like England's today:

7. Adams
8. Bond
9. Patel
10. Gillespie
11. Masan

Thats what it looks like to me, but wasn't sure what his State performances were like.

As for the tail, Adams is on a par with Read AT LEAST, then Bond and Diz can hold a bat, in fact Diz wasn't the worst hitter until he got hit in last seasons State Semi.

And then the two number 11's.

And Patel bats at 8 for his State side and is the Welligton Nightwatchman!!!!

Someone got up from the wrong side of the bed.

Or would you rather see another one-sided Ashes test?

Sri Lanka 262/6 (50.0 ov)

Seems like a good total plus NZ has a pretty weak tail today (and no Vettori)

Steve, Honeypot complains about everything. Get used to it being around because Ed hasn't got the balls to do anything about the little sucker. He prefers to let trolls like H ply their trade and then ban those who respond.
