Well Stuart Clark and Brett Lee have taken 35 wickets between them in the current Ashes series to date.

"Australia has had a good fast-bowling program and across the board they are pretty good. There's some slight remodeling but nothing like tear them down and build them back up. All good bowlers are tinkering all the time to make sure they are staying ahead of everybody else. The further up the scale the less you have to do with actions, but the more you have to do with deliveries they want to add to their armoury. It could be slower balls, offcutters, legcutters, swinging, using the crease, going around the wicket. They have a good skill set but you have to add to that skill set, just like batters add to their shots."

"I'm very excited about working with all the bowlers," he said. "Fast bowling is one of those arts where you are going to get injured, so the fast-bowling programme wants to make sure there are at least seven to ten fast bowlers who can walk into the Test and one-day scene and do very well."

The delivery he's really helped Blee with is the half volley. He's a lot more consistant with it now.

You also can't forget Bung's slower ball. He's now got that one going so slowly that a grandmother could play it. A real accomplishment.

Thats how it was when he first started in the national side, as I remember.

In his first few years he had two speeds, 155kph or 90kph. His slower ball was so much slower that it was too obvious.

Australia still have Watson, Johnson, Bracken - all are good quality. I'm not sure they have much in the spin department, maybe MacGill can do a job for a couple of years then see who comes through the ranks.

Australia will be fine. Nice to get rid of McGrath and Warne though Wink
