I agree. I will tell these politicians to piss off. SA cricket team should be picked on merit now that there are enough black players in the FC system. To me, SA team has been on a decline for 5-6 years and the governemnt has to take a huge responsibilty for that.They meddle too much in the selection preocess. Just look at the recent world cup. In the 15 men team, they had to have at least 7 players of colour (only Ntini and Gibbs were there on merit). Its just NONSENSE.

All other countries (selectors) have the comfort of knowing they only need to select the best.
