As somebody pointed out in another thread rather than opt for his golf shoes as an easy way out he is still trying hard to get back into the team. Whether he deserves ot makes it or not is a different matter but these so called jokes are in poor taste IMO. But then that is typical in India where temples get built overnight for some heroes and get torched the next day for some fickle reason.
Its funny - making jokes is in poor taste, but saying that players hesitate to retire because they dont want to stop making the big bucks is not. Very strange......
I can live with the jokes - which are not abusive at all - given his current form, even Ganguly himself is likely to smile at some of this stuff.
I dont know if he'll smile at some of the other stuff thats said about national team cricketers.
Here is some harmless humour for you. I am sure you will have a good laugh at this .
Q: Do vampires still exist in India, if so how do they look ? A: Yes there is proof of atleast one in the form of a balding, middle aged, pot bellied opinionated commentator now looking for the next victim to suck the blood out realising that it is time to look for more juicy victims.

Im not sure if i understand the humour there - but it is definitely completely harmless. Whoever it is aimed at, is unlikely to get bothered by it.
