No, this is England where people like Panesar as viewed as English.

Unless you don't regard him as English at all. Why would that be?

Of course he is but why change is name?

You've already been told it was his family that nicknamed him Monty. What exactly is the problem here?

Apparently Steve Harmison changed his name to Sumeda Harmision.

There's no problem. He's one of Laggers' stooges/flunkies. It is the school holidays you know!

I really have to question if fletcher is a good coach ordoes he just(like buck for aus) have a lot of talent to work with.

if it was left to fletcher england would be playing g.jones and giles ahead of monty and read.

it only took me one innings of watching monty to say that giles was finished yet for a lot of the english it took a 10 wickets haul and fletch still doesn't think he's good enough.

But you have to remember England were a laughing stock when Fletcher took over. Some of the selections, e.g. in the debacle against New Zealand in 1999 show this.

Fletcher has discovered Trescothick, Vaughan, Si Jones, Harmison, all from average FC records. He's also created a much better team atmosphere where players like Strauss, Cook, Collingwood, etc. can come in and succeed from the start, which rarely used to happen before.

Also meant to say the strict approach paid dividends with Flintoff, maybe that's what he's trying with Panesar as well.

A stark generalisation? From shakes. Never. I won't believe it.

Still might be time for a change, bob simpson lifted us out of the gutter but we also benefited with new ideas that took us to an even higher level after he left.

Perhaps, Fletcher may well leave after the Ashes and WC this winter. Some new ideas definitely needed in ODI's. Wouldn't mind seeing Tom Moody as coach, not sure how many good English coaches there are around. Maybe Martyn Moxon.

Apparently, someone who keeps banging on about prejudice v fairness keeps banging on about Hoggard as "scarecrow needing a haircut", and other trolling stuff like this, about Wimbledon:

"If bids want a fairer system, then play the real stuff like men do. A proper 5 sets instead of 3 for a decider. Perhaps then we should all consider about equality. If women want what men have, then my advice to them is work for it hard like we do. That's equality. Fed up of hearing these whingeing comments about "eqaulity"."

Like we do? ~ Aye, trolling is hard work .... Big Grin
