I felt quite sorry for Paul Collingwood today when he was interviewed prior to the 2nd ODI. He stated that "it was a decision he had to make" two or even three times but he never once said he resigned. This gave me the impression that he was pushed out of the one day captaincy. I think KP will make a good and positive captain in all forms of the game but do you feel that having given Colly the nod he should have been given longer or was he already on a downhill spiral?
Pietersen has more flare and personality to be a good captain, he has a good feel good factor about him, not to take anything away from Collingwood though, he is a superb player when he is in form.

I agree KP is better equiped to cope with the pressures of captaincy but I still feel for colly. Why give him a bone then snatch it away again. I suppose it could be argued that his form was suffering. I just hope it doesn't have a negative effect on his game and batting in particular because he really is a major assett when on song
