True - like Warne/Shoiab their careers should be viewed with some scepticism pre-drugs test. But I agree both him and Shoiab should pay the penalty for their drug use - ignorance is not an excuse.
It's a shame because he seemed like such a promising bowler.
unlike pakistan players he was tested year in year out for all sorts of drugs for his entire career and was clean except for one diet tablet.
Thankfully he owned up like a man should and served his time unlike the pakistan players who were pinged the very first time they were tested and for steriods of all things and yet they still lie through their teeth.
