"please" - at the end of they're all in the same boat ie drug cheats. There was some inconsistency in Warne's account too, with respect to his mother's role in the affair, and it wasn't just a diet tablet (masking agent). The only difference is that Warne was rightfully punished, while Shoiab/Asif have wrongly been let off. Therefore their careers should be seen in a similar light IMO.

Anyways let's not get sidetracked since this thread is discussing a different issue.

it's a real worry that whoever we pick as the "best"quick has huge question marks.

it's still too early for clark and sreesanth

pollock is on the slide ntini can't do much outside of home green tracks.

Not looking good fore the next couple of years with so many flat decks around.

You said his career both pre/post drug test should be viewed with scepticism. I agreed with the pre-part, and simply pointed out that other drug cheats are in the same boat (eg Shoiab/Warne). However I don't believe Asif should still be viewed cynically (with respect to performances) because he is no longer on performance enhancing drugs. Otherwise other drug cheats would have to be judged in the same light.

Not scepticism, i just can't rate him as anything other than a bloke who got away with taking steriods.

As for not being on drugs still, how do you know that?

pakistan still dont do regular tests like countries like australia do, for all i know he is on drugs right now.

And as i said we know warne didnt take any diet tablets or anything else at any other point in his career as he was tested every year, year in year out as all top aussie athletes are.

As you don't seem to want to understand pakistan have never been tested until woolmer asked for suprise tests.

When that first tests ever done finds 2 bowlers on steriods it's not a big leap in logic to think they have used steriods more than just once in their career.

Stay with the purple ones ... colour co-ordination in food presentation is big time now with all the oikey pseudo chefs constantly trying to out-do the other!
Also you need a lot of slurrey, so pick an allotment adjacent to the Oval... plenty of effluence to be found in those parts.

PS where is Londonistan?
Anywhere near Hindusford?

The oval? That piece of junk should be sold off to property developers.

It was ... to Fosters ... the Aussies took one look at it and found a bunch of mugs called Brit to flog it to...
It were the gasometers (and Rampsarse) stinking the place out.

Blame the spineless PCB. But it shouldn't really have a bearing on his future bowling ability, unless he is found guilty again. All I was implying is that if you have a problem with him pre-drug testing, it should be similar for all cricketing drug cheats.

Seems like an assumption. Do you know he is still on drugs? He would have to be pretty stupid to carry on with his drug abuse, especially as he is now viewed with increasing suspicion. Plus the ICC carry out random dope tests (eg prior to WC), and one would think Asif would be high on the priority list.

Why? he got away with it.

As if his own board that let him off will be testing him again any time soon.

ICC carry out random doping tests. If he is found guilty again, he will be in line for a very long ban.

We are talking about a steriod user, he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt that he uses or has common sense.
