Boucher now on 375, 3 ahead of Gilchrist and only 20 behind Healy.

I've probably seen Boucher miss more chances than Gilchrist and I've seen Boucher less. Healy was better than both.

I say it so it must be so.

Boucher has played 98 tests and Gilchrist 89. And Boucher is about 4-5 years younger than Gilly.

Gilly may never catch Boucher and probably won't even get to Healy's record given the Aust playing schedule coming up.

Another 2 for Boucher this afternoon. One an absolute screamer.

Still 4 tests to go this summer.

Possibly a bit more. Boucher turned 30 a couple of weeks back.

Healy took 119 tests btw.

Not sure how much it means.

boucher had a pretty easy job over the years keeping to a whole bunch of right arm quicks.

watching him keep to paul adams i doubt he would have a hope of keeping to warne for example.

Boucher would not have kept to so much dross if had been keeping to Warne rather than Adams!

Both great players but i know who from them would get in most peoples chosen 11. Gilly.

Considering Boucher's gauntlets were once likened to a pair of cymbals, he's done pretty well. A tough keeper in the traditional mould, which Gilchrist proceeded to smash with his audacious batting.

Boucher v Gilchrist. Gilly to win via disqualification in the 5th round after Bouch bites one of his ears off.

Gilly isn't the worlds greatest ever keeper but he's still beter than boucher by a fair way.

Boucher is a club pro type. Though to his credit he is better than Geriant Jones.

He also loses points for his ordinary work into the stump mics. "Lark it Harry" etc in a ridiculous sounding voice.

One of the best sledging exchanges ever heard clearly via stump mike was during the last Saffie-Lankan series in Yarptown. Bouch was struggling to overcome brilliant Yarp impressions by Sanga. He resorted to insinuations that Sanga needed to have his "Kimbies changed". Sanga just laughed at him.

What about Sanga asking Prince why he doesn't sit with the rest of the team. Quality sledging, though a little controversial

Yes, not a patch on Gilchrist's cultured delivery of "Noyce wan Shayne!" that is a true auditory treat for the whole family.

Aye, Sanga is a class act in the "stick-it-up-em" stakes.

Get it right! It was 'Shine', not Shane.

Somehow 'noice eereas Cull/Woidey/Biles' just won't cut it.

Healy 119 matches, 395 dismissals
Gilchrist 90 matches, 381 dismissals
Boucher 99 matches, 380 dismissals

But Boucher has taken more wickets. :-)

I agree with others that Boucher will be well ahead by next southern summer (Australia plays no more Tests until November) and Adam is unlikely to catch him before retirement.

I think he's great. Rapidly becoming my favourite Lankan cricketer.

I don't like Boucher, he offends me. I have absolutely no justification, I just don't like him.

Therapy? made my ears hurt
