Given the similar scenario, Inzi will be telling his batsmen to play some one day cricket on the 4th day and put England under pressure by making them bat through the last hour or two of play on the fourth day.

Pure speculation!

Call it an educated guess.
Afterall we did see in Englands last tour of Pakistan that Inzi is quiet an aggressive Captain when he has the opposition under pressure.

Pakistan failed to bowl out England in both innings.

I would not entertain Rao, he is absolutely rubbish. Still think the bowling line-up is very poor but what can you do when your top three guys are out.

I'm worried about this Rao character. Every Pakistani forumer seems agreed that he's rubbish, sounds like just the kind of bowler who'll get our top five out all with long hops and half-volleys.

At the moment neither teams look like taking 20 wickets.

This should be a high scoring series.

Wouldn't worry Gary, he really is sh*te, makes Sami look like a bowling ace. I think he played in the ODI's against England in Pak.

Rao Ifthikar is such a waste in the squad. Yasir Arafat would be a much much better choice.

The only issue with these bowlers is their consistency, which is why losing Mohammed Asif was such a big blow.

Umar Gul doesn't pitch it up enough.

Mohammed Sami should have licence to attack, attack, attack. He should be told to bowl fast. Inzamam should only inform him that bowling short and wide isn't a good idea. Apart from that, he should let himself loose and look to set the cat amongst the pidgeons, so to speak.

Then you'll be fine, old lady.
My point was that I didn't start playing games with names, you did, so you were the one getting it back.
Capsice?
Oh my god, they're off again...
Worry not Gaz, it's only her motherly instincts wanting to look after me.

Rao is no more then a club bowler. Thats the truth of it. He must have friends in high places, cos he wont even get Monty out with is 77mph tripe.

Several all-bore draws in this series methinks.

But can he find a club ground big enough for his run up?

77mph and less has worked well for a lot of bowlers in the past and still works well for some today. If he's no good then his speed isn't going to be the reason. His FC record looks good though...

It is a mystery how he has amassed that record. It must be a case of Hick in reverse. FC giant, has nothing to offer at the higher level.

I did say at the start of the thread this series is shaping up to be a bit of a run-fest.

Still the best prediction was by JoeShmoe it seems:

quote:

I'll predict now that Mahmood, Plunkett or both of them will go round the park for a lot of runs (because they're shite).

GoJo also not to pass 20 in either knock

Cue press and fan hsyteria. Then we'll really see if Dunc and Gravy are that stubborn they wont bring back Read and an.other bowler (Broad, Tremlett etc)
