Sad, but very true, Horrie.

Solution is easy for that problem, get the ed to change the tile to "Indian FTB thread" and this can go on for another 50 pages or more.
|
| |

FTBs are found in every cricketing country, and India is not the only country which produces it. Every team, be it Australia, England or SA, have had their share of FTBs in their cricket history and even now, these countries aren't immune to them.

I think Ishant has very bright future ahead of him. I think DDCA would do well to provide bit more lively decks to him.

Don't disagree with that SG, I was not serious with what I said just playing up to some of those Aussie jibes.

Fast bowlers should be blooded when they are young, not when they have grown middle-aged playing for their A teams.
Wasim was literally picked off the streets...He was brought in to the 'nets' just to give some practice to the batsmen and that's where he shocked everybody and ended up getting picked for the tour of NZ.
shows the selection criteria ...well he was good enough to pick 10 wickets(5 in each innings) in only his 2nd test match!
Now let's play cricket......

Should start a Pommie spin bowling thread to keep this one company.

How can a thread on Indian "fast" bowlers last 8 pages?
Well I guess people like to debate the existence of God,too?

There's not just one book about him, but several. Amazing.

Where has Balaji disappeared again? He hasn't turned up for TamilNadu in a single Ranji match this season!!

Injury. I don't think he can last long in the domestic arena at this rate, let alone make a comeback to the national team. And, the God delusion?
In the beginning, there was GoD. GoD only DoG. GoD only DoG only DoG only GoD. Ad inf.

A rookie bowler, named Alfred Absolem from Hyderabad, routed Punjab today, at Hyderabad. I wonder if it was just a fluke, or the wicket was too green; but a stats of : A Absolem 12 4 35 7 2.91 is certainly impressive.

His name sounds very 19th century.

Ranadeb Bose from Bengal has claimed the maximum numbers of wickets this Ranji season : 57 wickets at an average of 14.22 runs. He is a tall (6'4'') guy and can swing the ball either way but has a special outswinger in particular. But sadly he bowls only in the 127-129 kph range. Will he be good at international level? The relentless optimist

|
At the end of the 2006-07 season, Bose had bowled 10,708 first-class deliveries, and not bowled a single no-ball. Add to that the 2,113 List A deliveries, and countless ones at other official games, where he hasn't over-stepped even once. it speaks a lot about his new approach to bowling: cutting down on pace, focussed on accuracy and movement, and the numbers are the tangible evidence.

if thats true its an amazinn stat. cant help but feel 127-129 isnt good enough

I guess Punjab had no escape from Absolem, ha ha ha...

Simply out of the world stat.
