I don't think anyone else would ever get anywhere near to this many wickets against one single country simply because they don't play this many tests against one particular nation (apart from Aus and Eng, who play 10 tests in 4 years against each other).

And McGrath finishes with,
McGrath against Eng: 154 wickets in 30 tests @ 21.23
| |

South Africa and England still play 5 test series home and away.
| |

But not as frequently as Aussies and Eng do.
| |

Besides who do you think amongst them, would take even 100 wickets against each other, apart from Pollock and Ntini may be?

Didn't they play in Eng in 2003 and then in Saffieland in 2004/05? If they intend to keep that up then it's just as frequent as Aus-Eng.

Monty?

Hey Goel,
What happened to that McWarne record?
Could they end up with 100 wickets in tests in which they've played together?

1000 wickets I mean.

Thats for our Aussie friends to answer, Chandan.
| |

Where had you found that stats from, earlier? They must have updated it by now. If they did achieve it, it must have been hell of a record!!

Chandan, they finished with 1002 (if I count correctly). Quite a record.
