I like that side. But i think Lawson would probably get the nod over, Mohammed, especially if its something like Lords or Headingly, where turn is literally non exsistant. I would play Mohammed in Old Traff. Maybe even bring Samuels into the side. But overall a decent team. Also bring Pedro Collins in for Fidel Edwards. Very underrated player.
A Little Hard Work never killed anyone....but why take the chance?
Edwards has not even been picked for Barbados and is out of favour. He has a central contract and so will be in the squad but I doubt he will start the 1st test.
The batting is settled and likely to be just as Nimrod has it. The Carib Cup is taking place at the moment so it is too early to tell which spinner and fast bowler will be selected.
Lawson will be selected if they think his action has improved (which I doubt). Ravi Rampaul will be back from injury soon so he has a chance. Even Tino Best has a chance as he had an impressive first match in the Carib Cup. The best performing spinner will be selected so I will hazard a guess at either Mohammed or Jaggernauth.
The only definite starters in the bowling dept are Taylor and Collymore.

He should have played in Pakistan Moc. But i dont think he should tour England seeing as its not really a 2 spinner thing and cause Gayle can chip in with overs. One specific spinner will be all thats needed.

He was on the squad that toured Pakistan but he didn't play.
He just scored a 100 in the Carib Cup against a very decent JA pace attack (Taylor, Lawson and Powell).
His bowling is deteriorating however and he now averages 37 per wicket in domestic cricket. IMO he is a long way behinds Jaggernauth as an offie. Jaggers has a good doosra to go with his off breaks and averages 23 per wicket.
Dave Mohammed has improved a lot since that tour of England. His batting is very good for a number 8 and he has taken some good wickets since his return to the side.
The problem is WI still don't have a spin culture in the team. If the spinner has 1 bad game he is out, while the pacers are allowed to stink up the place for at least 5 matches.
Saw Dave Mohammad in the series vs Pakistan. Looked every bit a club bowler. I think he was dropped for the last test. No point in playing a spin bowler for the sake of it.
Expect WI to get comprehensively thrashed. Batting averages of Bell, Cook and Colly will rise again

I think that spot for Edwards?Lawson is up for grabs for the standout bowler in the domestc season. Considering Edwards couldn't make Barbados's team and Lawson's dodgy action when he is effective I don't see it being either. I like Emrit a lot and he supposedly is to tour with WI when we go to India shortly. Sammy, Collins, Tonge and Kelly are also strong contenders. I certainly play Mohammed unless he has a dire domestic season and since every season he takes truckloads of wickets I don't foresee it.

I personally rate Jaggers as a better spinner than Dave Mo. He spins the ball a fair amount and has a pretty good doosra. If Ganga gave him more overs he would take just as many wickets as Dave Mo. I really hope Jaggers gets a chance on the tour of England, or at least an A team tour.

Darren Sammy also did really well so he may be challenging Bravo for the allrounders spot in the team.
I wonder, for Lords at least, whether they might not be tempted to play both as part of a five man all seam attack. There is no great Windies spinner at the moment, and Lords hardly takes the stuff anyway, yet the hammering they got there in 2004 will probably mitigate against a four man attack.
