Amazing how most conversations on this forum about the england side manage to come down to a jones vs read debate. In my opinion, the side for OT should be:
Tres Strauss Bell Pieterson Colly Fred Jones Dalrymple Hoggard Harmison Monty
Ok i know this team is unlikely to be picked but here is my reasoning. I prefer Bell to Cook at the moment, he looked more solid in the first test. Plunkett looked weak and was struggling too much with his action, he needs more time in county cricket. I say bring dalrymple in instead, he can make some runs down the order and provides a second spin option on a wicket which is likely to turn. I've always favoured Jones over Read and think Jones is due a decent score in this series.

Which is probably why I read that they're not considering two spinners (as someone on this thread was advocating).
