Neh, my 2nd fave team is WI so I want them to win any match bar the one with us.

At least it's not Oz out there on the field
Did you see the 'Wizzy' article with him? About being the heir apparent to Richie? Made me sick. He nearly didn't do the interview because "Wisden take the mick out of me two or three times a year". Get over yourself knickerless, you sooky wonder.

I was just wondering about that. It all depends on your perspective.
If you consider Aus, Sri Lanka and SA as guaranteed semi-finalists, then this game needs a Windies win.

The only SF's i think almost guaranteed will be AUS & NZ
I may regret supporting certain teams when I see how it pans out.
For the tournament as a whole you could say it needs a Windies win, though even their own matches seem to be half empty. A Windies loss here could virtually put them right out of it (considering their 'win' is one against Ireland).

Yeah probably, it's all a bit futile 'hoping' for certain results anyway. Bottom line is England are going to have to win against one of SL/SA after Ireland.
Skinner, from USA offers his reason for the poor turnout.. "There are many reasons why the crowds are poor. Not least that it depended on whether your team won their "important" group stage game or not as to where they played their super 8 games. We wanted tickets to the super 8 stage and needed to organise accommodation, flights etc well in advance. So we took a gamble on Australia beating South Africa & organised to be in Antigua. If Australia had lost, they would be playing in Guyana....miles away. Pity the poor South Africans who paid a lot of money to be in Antigua only to watch Australia play, not South Africa. Thats my 2 cents worth!" -----------------------
That's from cricinfo's commentary.
Skinner is incorrect... they geared it so that the places were seeded regardless of who won those matches.
