Good news - but as it says it may only stop new contracts rather than terminating existing ones.

I can't see why this has become such a problem though. Surely if has been against European law to stop a county EMPLOYING a Kolpak player, can't the ECB impose restrictions on its leauge and cup competitions to limit the number that can PLAY in any one game? That would cure the problem at a stroke.

Limit the currently contracted to one per match and the rest will soon go home esp as the best player would probably be selected each time.

omg she did, need to look up what a kolpaks is.........sound interesting...............
