New Year's Eve win against Sri Lanka proved this. Franklin scores a superbly controlled 45* from no. 8. Normally he bats at 9 or 10. Kyle Mills was not playing. He would be at no. 10 and he normally won a game against Australia with three consecutive sixes two years ago. And let's not forget Vettori.

Who else has a lower order like this? It's not England, that's for sure.

P.S. Yes, I know. By claiming the above, I am conveniently diverting you from NZ's top order! That's another story Wink

Greatest Test XI:
Hobbs, Hutton, Bradman (c), Ponting, Tendulkar, Sobers, Gilchrist (wk), Hadlee, Muralitharan, Barnes, McGrath

Greatest ODI XI:
Jayasuriya, Gilchrist (wk), Ponting, Richards (c), Tendulkar, Hussey, Klusener, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Muralitharan, Garner

I wish England had a tail like NZ do.

Franklin, Vettori, Mills are all quite decent.

Vettori took 10 wickets in his last test, so that rules out any comparisons Cool

I'd swap Lee for Vettori tomorrow ... Vettori bowls better, and bats better, in a weaker side.

Not to mention that Vettori is enough of a pretty boy to take over Bung's role as poster boy for pretty much every rubbish product out there.
