I see Warney manages to feature in 3 of the 11. They don't mention Beefy's spot of extra-curricular activity on the Win dies tour in '86 aklthough m'learned friends might have intervened there. Good job Edrich & Compton never made the papers or else the writer would have run out of space. Wonder what would have happened if mobile phones had been around in Jack Hobbs' day!

However I should like to wish all Forummers a very Happy & Prosperous New Year and the best of luck in 2007, whatever the fortunes of your respective Test & local sides.
