Now let's play cricket......

this is getting comical!
Now let's play cricket......

this will show if pakistan really have the depth of fast bowlers they always boast about.
| |

Well i think its better not to play anyone who is not 100% fit and this bowling atack is weak none of these bowlers have ability to reverse swing the ball i was hoping Asif to lead this atack but now when hes injured only way we can win is we score over 500 Runs in one innings which will be difficult for our batsmans..

Can you name me who has made such a claim. Take any top bowler out of any line-up (even the Aussies) and teams will struggle. Pakistan are in real trouble with their injury situation. Azhar and Yasir may be options. Mushy may be an option. Losing Rana for the series is a big blow. I have little idea how the line-up will shape. This is my guess Farhat Malik Younis Khan Mohammed Yousuf Inzamam Kamran Akmal Abdul Razzaq Azhar Mahmood Yasir Arafat Mushtaq Ahmed Danish Kaneria

Sami will definitely get fit to play. Even Asif has a 50-50 chance!!
What about Shoaib Dr.Chandan?
Yes my patient! Shoaib has been missing from the Pak team since February. I thought that Pak knew about Shoaib's unavailibility much before the England series. Rana is a setback.

I don't get what you guys are so worried about pakistan bowling for me Razzak, Kaneria, Afridi, Malik were going to be our Major wicket taking bowlers anyway
| |

No Akhtar, Rana, Asif, Sami !
Even with a full strength team we would struggle against England at home, but with such a depleted line up we don't stand a chance.
Pakistan are doomed.
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED !!

Share your sentiments, ShEr. To get to the second spot, which seems important from what I read here, you need all your resources. Doesn't help much when you've spent them getting to #3.

I don't think England are spared by injury woe, though!!!

Aye, 1 batsman, 3 bowlers, of the other two bowlers, one has a bad hand and one has played only one 4-day game in 5+ months. It's basically Eng 'A' versus Pak 'A' at the mo

Hey Mirch, #2 postion isn't important, winning against England is, but with this side, Pakistan will be lucky to take 5 wickets nevermind 20.
England do have their problems too, but they've still got Harmison and most likely Hoggard at home against a shakey batting line-up.
No contest methinks.
| |

With all the injuries, I haven't been able to keep up.
Have the final squads been named?
| |

This injury situation is ridiculous!
Sad as it may seem, I don't think Inzi or Woolmer will ever go for Azhar Mahmood again.
This looks like the most probable line up:
Salman Butt, Imran Farhat, Younis Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq*, Mohammed Yousuf, Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Afridi/Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal*, Umar Gul, Samiullah Khan, Danish Kaneria
England to rack up 600 and win...

I guess you missed that thread, ShEr. One started by one of Pakistan's most learned forummers. Yeah, I guess both teams are handicapped and I doubt whether Hoggard will be fit (with or without the oxygen tent). Danny is right. It looks like a clash of two 'A' teams.

Pakistan are going to struggle big time come thursday!
I dnt know if they can bowl out england let alone be able to bat against em.

Don't worry at all. When you turn up to the Test match, there'll be a 'Pakistan home pitch' waiting for you. It's a banker....
| |

So, it's England B versus Pakistan B then.

England easily. Pak bowlers have all broken down.
Eds suck

Pakistan will struggle getting 5 wickets, what about England? Plunkett and Mahmood, embarrassingly poor, Harmison might retire the square leg umpire hurt at best at the moment... So poor old Hoggy needs to get 18 wickets himself and we pray we get a couple of run outs!!!!

It looks like a run feast then in all 4 tests.
| |

Bell to get a slow double ton this series.
| |

Ian Bell would need all the days in back to back test matches and the rest days in between to get a double hundred! I think the Pakistani batters would be looking at our bowling and licking their lips.

No chance, did you not see what England A did to Pakistan ? Hoggard and Harmison to run through all four test matches.
