One has to say that with such a huge score, Pakistan have no change of a win in this test. The bowling has been erratic, and the fielding schoolboy standard.
Danish has toiled, bowled beautifully. Under 2.5 an over, 50 overs. Such a huge effort. A one man attack.
This is shown glaring gaps in Pakistan's bench strength.

65/3. Trouble for Pakistan. One hopes that they can avoid the follow on, and thus be in a position to save the game.

Your best 2 batsmen are at crease, Waqas. Don't worry. (I don't mean Sami though!! ) I'm not enjoting the discussions a lot here. No Pak forummer is here while the match is on. Why don't you join in Waqas?

Pak's inexpereinced bowling line up leaked more runs that they would have liked, not helped by 5 dropped catches. Battingwise Salman Butt does not look in full form. Imran Farhat actually impressed me with his positive intent and rather more discipline than usual but was foxed by strauss and plunkett in thinking he was going to get a bouncer. Faisal Iqbal just got an unplayable ball from Harmison first up. England's bowling apart from few Harmison's bowling does not look any more threatening than Pakistan. The only difference would be that English bowlers have cushion of 500+ runs - but its upto yousaf, inzi, razzaq and akmal to grind out as many runs as they can.

@ BBC:
"1045: The MCC has allowed England's players to wear one red sock in the field to support Comic Relief. It's a sparkling, bright sunny day and there's already a buzz of anticipation among the crowd."
The kit man will be having nightmares about one of those sneaking into the wash...
It wouldn't be the English Lions on the field, so much as the Pink Panthers....

74/4 Sami gone Pakistans best two batsmen out at the crease. Need a big effort from Inzi and Yousef.

Reminds me of the time when MCC Cricket Chairman Ossie Wheatley vetoed the appointement of Gatt as England skipper in 1989, thereby pushing into the arms of South African Breweries. I don't see what influence MCC should have on the England team in this day and age. It's anachronistic. The EwCB should set the rules.

27 run partnership at the moment looks promising for Pakistan if these two stay in this session.

Now England's turn!! Runs are leaked. Inzi's catch has been dropped though it was quite a difficult chance, admittedly!

England are not the ones in trouble in this match so far. Yousaf has made 50. Pakistan need one of these two to go on and make a big score if Pakistan are to have any chance.

A whole Major League Baseball team represents Boston, presumably for the same reason.
