The guy is apparently number 1 in the "rankings" of certain countries that tend to "produce" Bradmans. He's the biggest cross batting slogger in the world. Apart from that, there's not much there.

So no knowledge of cricket doesn't stop you posting.

You asked me not to abuse posters, but you feel OK abusing cricketers? Strange Confused

Each time KP has got a hundred in ODIs, he's started off fairly sedately, and blasted away near the end. He ought to play how he feels comfortable playing. He's good enough to make up the difference between his score and number of balls faced in no time at all. KP needs to give himself a bit more of a chance when he first comes to the crease.

He gave himself a lot of time in the first one day matches against WI but still went out in the 30's. He gave himself a lot of time in most of his innings during the World Cup and made a few good scores, including two tons, but his scoring rate wasn't too flash compared with several other muscular players during the tournament. He seems to be scoring slower at the moment. Or is that just perception?

Australia #1 in tests and one dayers and that's the natural order.

He's had to slow down really because of the weight of expecation on his shoulders.

Don't think he has the talent but he's a brave slogger. With a bit of luck, he can convert those in to hundrds.

Think KP's had to dig in because not a single player can be trusted for decent runs at a good scoring rate.

As soon as we get some useful players performing consistantly, he'll be able to open up again. Seriously, it's not like he likes blocking balls.

As for the talent thing that this 'Bowled Shine' is on about, what a stupid thing to say. He's easily one of the most talented batsmen I've seen and it is verified by him getting to 2500 runs faster than anyone but Brad. Also the fact that easily the best team of his day struggled to consistantly get him out and he intimidated them greatly.

KP is an excitable DQ.

The Aussie attack was not what it used to be last summer. And they certainly had his measure in Sydney and Melbourne which weren't the featherbeds of Brissie, Perth and Adelaide.
