has to be Nicholas. Everything about him, the way he talks, what he talks (master of stating the banal obvious and repeat endless times) is just so annoying. You just wish he'd shut up and leave the comm box
Nicholas is annoying for sure. I often mute the sound when he is on.
Healy isn't there to commentate, but to dance like a cheerleader.
Taylor is better. Slater, I think, is very good. Has a natural way of speaking, talks in a natural, down to earth sort of manner and makes good points.
He seems a nice chap but i find Kerry O'Keefe annoying. His attempts at humour had an amusing charm about them for a (short) while but i find them incredibly tedious now. His end of session summaries are usually OK though.
I don't like Ian Chappell's commentary either. He obviously has a first class cricket brain but he tends to rub his opinions in your face. Surely, not every visiting captain is a total idiot.
There was one SA commentator, who think I used to commentate 3-4 seasons back, his name is escaping my memory, but he was as annoying commentator as anyone can ever hope to be. His tone was so annoying, perhaps even more than Nicholas's.
Other annoying commentators, Sidhu, Sohail, Srikant, Shiva, Willis, Martin Crowe, Healy, Greig, Shiva, Symcox.
Most Indian and Lankan commentators be it Shastri, Navjot Sidhu, The Arun Lals, Madan Lals, Charu Sharmas, Mandiras, Ranatungas, Mohinder Amarnaths, Manjrekars, Saba Karims etc. It was a pain watching any match on Sony Setmax or 10 Sports without switching off finally for a head migraine. I am very very greatful that ESPN-Star finally bagged some good matches. The WC in Windies will be a painful watch since the idiots at Sony Setmax have the rights and they will again bring in all the out of work Indian cricket idiots looking to make some fast money, all cheap, crass and no class and also brainless bimbos to 'bring in the housewives'.
Nothing can be more painful than watching the hopeless no gooders and also rans and all the 1 match - 2 match wonders in India giving out 'expert' comments on what legendary achievers like Sachin, Dravid, Kumble and Laxman should be doing in every match. Jeez, if they were such experts and that good, why didn't they achieve more in their respective careers, when they played and why didn't they do the same thing when they were playing.
Imagine having to listen to a rythmnless and out of tune love song from folklore from Jimmy Amarnath expressing love for Dhoni after he smashes a 100 on a typical Indian 350 runs an innings flat track.
