The Reaper considers Gower, Waugh M., Laxman, Martyn & Dujon to be the most stylish bladesmen to have performed before his trained, yet hooded eye.

The Reaper also believes Chappel G. to have been in this mould, but despite being eternal, has only been in thrall to the true beauty of cricket for the last 27 years.

The Reaper takes a scythe to all others' claims to stylishness.

Dujon was a hero of mine. What a player and what a gentleman.

I see you left out Lara so would I.

Dreadful to watch but effective.

I still rate David Gower and Greg Chappell as my personal favourites.

I agree, with that completely, Chanderpaul very cramped and not to nice on the eye, but works hard and is a brillant batsman because of it, but Lara and Tendulkar for me, the two modern legends have it all, and as I did not have the pleasure of seeing many of those above play I am sticking to who and what I have seen, when those two on on form, no team in the World including the Aussies can handle them.

Lara was not stylish to my eyes.

Dreadful defensive technique, Used the bat like a shovel.

However most would disagree.

Have you guys seen footage of David Gower?

Have not seen enough of him really, and to be honest he should be in the england side but from his record, obviously he is a master class county batsmen but if can never take that skill into the big time international cricket then no not for me, the most stylsih and best has to be a regular in interanationals i think, but then this is about style and like i said i have not really seen anough of him to know.

Yes it's not about runs or averages. Sir Viv was not stylish.

WG I don't know him.

Dravid Laxman and yes Tendulker have a degree of style.

Laxman, forgot about him, always heard how he was glorious to watch against the aussies and in general when he was in form, but for me ,I still love wathing Tendulkar play those beautiful off drives, its like he barely touches the ball, and I always find that a big back lift makes shots look all the better.
