Well you just started it,I think the test match is evenly poised.I would put my money on India winning this one.

I would hope that, yeh it was a good day, pretty even until the aussie blast at the end that tipped it thier way i would say, but it is good to finally see some intent from the indian side, i think sehwag was the right way to go over yuvi as he was really stuggling and sehwag has a tonne of test experince over him, not to mention the fact that they need to get him back into form for the future in general as him at the topf of an innings can really get the team off to a flier. well done sehwag, welcome back, hope he gets a big one, against the aussies, it will do his confidence a universe of good.

I know, i wouldnt believe my eyes whenn i saw the head line on bbc sports, it was a nice change from AUSTRALIA DOMNATE, i hope they can keep this hope, and if they do and just one or two players go on to get a massive score thenthey could really have the aussies and deny them that all important win, whilst also keeping the series alive.

I suppose Rogers was unlucky getting out as he did but Jaques needed Hayden at the other end.

Again Hayden would not have dropped Dravid.
With Clarke and Symonds in the slips the close in fielding of Australia lacks venom.Clarke is batting poorly and so is Ponting.

However India are playing this one well and deserve their driving seat position.

I doubt Kumble will let Australia back in but the one thing is there are three days to go and we would have to bowl India out for under 300.

Yeh I hope india can bat for at least a day and a half then once a good lead may b 300+ is achieved, go for the throat, this should be one hell of a test.

I had the gut feeling that without Hayden Australia's fielding would suffer. No experienced first slip or gully cost us.

Jeez I'm tired of selectors throwing newbies to the wolves in a record breaker of all games.

Haydos said he was fit enough to play on both media today.

It's still only a four day pitch tomorrow so if we lose I blame the cocky selectors.

Blind Freddie could see India was ready to come good.

Nielsen also admitted Matthew Hayden's absence (hamstring) had caused problems for the slips cordon.

Australia regularly chopped and changed their first slip through the match, and Michael Clarke dropped a catch there in India's first innings, which gave Rahul Dravid an early life on his way to 93.

UNQUOTE
FOXSPORTS article extract

I blame Nielsen for not passing Hayden.

I still credit India they deserve to be in this position.

i hope not but i have that horrible feeling that it might be coming up, and hussey as well, i mean ponting was on about 24 off 25, lloking in good touch so far, looks like his no bhajji plan is paying off.

Congrats to Team India !!

Indeed a team effort. Every member contributed in thier own way.

Losing Bucknor and Benson in the line-up proved costly for OZs.

That's probably the same audio.

Richie Benaud
Tony Greig
Bill Lawry
Michael Slater
Mark Taylor
Mark Richardson
Ian Healey
Ian Chappel
Just wanted to confirm you're getting the same verbal discussions about dismissals.
6 LBW's were wrongly given according to Hawkeye (and my eye) but favoured neither side though Symonds bat onto pad could have been crucial as he was looking very good.

After all the talk of a greentop at Perth Mike Hussey divulged on "Inside Cricket" TV that they were switched to one of the old pitches that they haven't used this year and are in the process of replacing because of their lack of pace.
They were told the day before the Test.

Tait when he skittled NZ in the 20/20 bowled on one of the new pitches.

Why the switch after all the hype about a Perth greentop?
