Don't think England will be complaining too much about that one-day performance and plenty of matches for India's stars to get back in.

Doubt it, it was calming down.

Wondrous Anderson's 4 for 23 in 10, with Cook and Bell's centuries, that was some England effort.

No thread for the first ODI?

Anyway - Anderson, Cook, and Bell the stars. All the players most beloved of the English forum experts. Or not.

Perhaps this proves that ODI cricket is crap?

Strange starting again from 0. Oh well...

Hope it's temporary.

No starting from zero here. Just the feeling of slipping on a pair of old shoes, shoes that have gone a bit musty since I last wore them.

Anyway, woo, Ingerland won a ODI convincingly.

Dodgy old business that's for sure.... did bad things happen after I left?

As a defence point in terms of England forummers and England's star performers - Bell took 48 ODIs to do it and played many a selfish innings.

Anderson and Cook should've been in the team.

Jimmy's got too good an ODI record to leave him out, Cook had hardly played any.

Just most pleased about how good a shape Flintstein looked in. Immense. He'd turned from Andrew back into Freddie.
