Why did Mohammad Khalil only get 8 overs? Took 3 for 22.

And Abdur Rehman got 10 and went for more than a run a ball, only getting wickets in the last over.

Strange captaincy from Misbah!
Khalil wasn't given his 10 and now he is making an orthodox spinner bowl the final overs of the innings!Maybe A Rehman is a C Gayle type of bowler so i guess can't be too critical!

Now let's play cricket......

If he'd opened Aust would have scored 350+.

Why did he not open?

Hadn't Pak A played with Aus A in a 50 over match once before in the tour?

2/103 off 26.1 - three drops by Aus A already in this innings (Boggy, Watto and A.N. Other), including two from top scorer Mohammad Hafeez (55 not out).

M Hafeez has been PAK's man of the tournament! If S Malik doesn't get for the ODIs vs ENG then i will definitely draft M Hafeez!

My guess is they are experimenting....

They are seeing how well the other 5 bowlers go ...and have Watto in reserve

....and they probably dropped Hattie down the order to see what others were capable of ...

Can any credible bragging rights be claimed from 'A' Team games?

Not really... if a player bombed out in these games they probably wouldn't be worth persisting with, and even a roaring success might not ensure the player was up to international cricket...

81 needed off 78, 7 wickets in hand. Hafeez is still in (80*).
