Perhaps he should have kept silent about what he did for a living, as that does open up a can or worms for the needlers... nevertheless, no need for for the 'hatred' nor bile ...
That's very kind, RedDuster. Would you like me to appraise you and your good and bad sides merely from your postng? What is quite interesting for me here is how everyone has to be weighed up as clever or not, cool or not, knowledgable or not and so on. I don't ever remember saying that i am particularly good at cricket just that i play county level and have faced most of the best bowlers in the world. I can't help what i do for a living. I clearly messed up by using the name i have but i never realised that it would be taken so badly by some. Could i refuse any plaudits for being thick skinned because i can't see that not worrying about people on a blind forum is too hard. My family come first then my job. This will be taken wrongly by some too most likely but a cricket forum should be half an hours fun and conversation here and there it's not like it's a vital part of any of our lives. Also RedDuster i said things as i saw them regarding the ashes series you were far too optimistic and i said so. I went to two tests and what i saw confirmed what i feared beforehand. To those who prefer to think i don't play then i am more than happy for you to think how you wish. I defend rigourously your right to a view on anything, within reason and if you see me more down the chippy serving heart attacks in newspaper then that's grand.

I'd like an answer to my earlier question, CP, if that can be managed without compromising anonymity.
If i answered that bias would certainly come into the answer if im honest amcg. What i can say is that i think this coming season will sort out a lot about who can realistically play for England in the near future.

Despite repeated requests to demonstrate that higher value we have seen nothing.
Scepticism?? Talk the talk, cannot walk the walk.
Pontoon i never declared myself a complete expert but i am afraid several here know less than they believe they do about the game. I will admit to losing a lot of interest in the forum after being accused of things like self abuse by Toga and other unnecessary and vulgar stuff by others which got deleted by admin. The keeper i mentioned has only posted a few times and at least i have been able to warn him about the louder ones here. Calm down doubters it's only a job i am much more in awe of an A+E doctor.

Don't look so shocked, Petey. It's just Rob being Rob.
BTW the all important question CP has to answer is, are Jaffa Cakes cakes or biscuits? And how do you eat the orangey bit?
