Munaf & Ishant provide pace. Zaheer provides left-arm swing, Sreesant provides seam movement and VRV gets bounce.

To think of it, folks on here last month were making fun of Indian fast bowling. lol
Holding, Ambrose, Marshall, Garner and Roberts?

At first i thought he had been hyped up so greatly before his first test against bangladesh and then when i saw him i thought i was right, now it is only his second test and he has his 1st 5fer, however, despite ihs 5 wickets only 2 of them were any sorts of batsmen but fair enough a 5fer is a 5fer. I think his pace and bounce live up to what has been said about him, but i still want to see what happens as i have found that many of our indian up and comers, ie, pathan, sehwag, agarkar etc. have more or less all had massive dips in form, sure pathan is coming back but still that is my reason, i mean i am a fna of india and want sharma to be all that he can be but i guess we willl just have to wait and see. Congrats to him on his 5fer overall thought and against our beiggest rivals the pakistanis.

Surely he must be one for the future for India.

Great eye little master!! This man is catching even the mighty Aussies by surprise!

Looks good not only he is bowling at good pace he is also getting very good inswing.

He is still very thin I guess if he can work on his body he can sure cross 90MPH.

He seems like he's put weight on since this tour began. He has plenty of upper body room to work with.
Injury seems to plague India's promising quicks and they slow up as a result but Sharma looks a more natural type of fast bowler.

Definately agree, a bit more wieght on this lad and 90 mph will definately be on the table, india could do with an express bowler, they can really help out like in england.

Lookswise, then yes, but at times it would be good as Agarkar was a rising star, I only wished he didnt burn out, fastest to 50 ODI wickets then Skull........................ and thats all she wrote. I hope young Sharma can continue on what he has already picked up from his experiences so far.

This boy just keeps on amazing us, did any one else see the mass amount of money that young Sharma was bought for the the IPL auction, he is like the 4th highest bid, somewhere around 900 000 $ i think it was, and irfan pathan, rp singh and bhajji were all in the top ten too, not to mention Dhoni sitting pretty at the top.

He crossed 90 miles on a number of occasions in the ODI tour. The fastest he clocked was 152.3 kmph which is around 93 and a half miles.
