How can anybody possibly not know that Winston Churchill was the bloke the Churchill Stand at the SCG was named after?

WSC may not have been black but he was half-American and supposedly part Cherokee through his maternal grandfather and his statue in Parliament Square was given a "mohawk" by May Day demonstrators some years back. In a cricketing context he is of course best remembered as Archie MacLaren's "fag" at Harrow and for recommending Jack Hobbs for a knighthood in 1953.
