This will be a contest. If New Zealand can overcome their ODI batting woes after the last series that is. Should be more evenly contested though than game one.

The Only probable change for Australia would be Lee over White, that is if Lee is fit.

Hoping to see the two fatboys umpire. That was great fun to see them do their exercises in the 20/20 fixture.

Hilfa might get a run on his home turf.

Well, Bond is there but the Kiwis are missing Styris the virus, oram and Mills for at least the first three games.

NZ's form has been hard to judge. They had a completely mixed bag against Sri Lanka, and a different team each game!

On reputation, I reckon it will be an Aus/NZ final. We might pinch one or two games off them somewhere along the line.

AUS P:8 W:6 L:2
NZL P:8 W:4 L:4
ENG P:8 W:2 L:6

With the second finalist decided by NRR, or the ACB abandoning the idea as hopelss and drafting in an Australia A!

Well, i can report that the weather is looking pretty good in Hobart. Just about to set off for Bellerive to make sure i get a seat in the members, close to the bar. Big Grin

Vettori bowling well. Australia going well.

Pretty typical for an Aus-NZ ODI.

I suppose Clarke and Hussey didn't 'crab' at all.

Hmmm, something tells me a possibly team like this would work better for Australia..

Gilchrist+
Jacques
Ponting
Cosgrove
Symonds
Marsh
White
Bracken
Johnson
Hilfenhaus
McGrath
