Who would travel on a train?
Yesterday turned out a pain
Train was full but got a seat
Near the window, that was neat

Then, four children did appear
Mother, father both were near
Baby crying, two were fighting
Couldn't think so no more writing

Then the train came to a halt
Wondered what could be the fault
Right through Rugby lines were down
Couldn't go around the town

Two hours later we're still waiting
Kids fed up and still creating
Diesel engine came at last
So on our way and Rugby passed

Off we went and gathered speed
All fed up now twas agreed
Hurrah the kids had gone to sleep
From them not another peep

Two and a half hours late we were
So next time I will prefer
To catch the plane to London town
And give the train a big thumbs down

I can be such a prude

when someone is friendly
I find it hard to accept
please forgive my rudeness
I could have really wept

Advice I can not take

I do go on about bagel queen
in an unhealthy obsessive way
I am very fond of her
and get envious of her day

it's great to see you back
and now you must not slack
back to rhyming you must come

I had the same last year
and when I just came in here
ready to rhyme about my time
in Italy and the fashion line
I had the shock of my life
felt like the stab of a knife

when someone knows you and you know
but you dont know their identity so
it is such a shock to the core
you think .....will there be anymore?


those that understand this rhyme today
I would just like to thankfully say
to me you are so very very dear
and its good to have you near!

We're only on page five
I think that we should strive
To get this thread to twenty
So we must rhyme a plenty

Perhaps real life has intruded

In buying fashion bits
To suit your taste
And I'm sure on you, quite well it sits

I'm off for a while so bye for now

After cooking the dinner, I'll be back
And will try to write yet another short rhyme

I fancy a roast but it's too late in the day
To defrost the meat and cook it in time
The kid's will be happy if I cook them some chips
Then I'll be able to sit here and rhyme

Bagel huni its nice to see you back
Rhymes are waiting by the stack
Please ignore the loon
And we will sing a happy tune

Okay, dinner is on the children are happy
They can look forward to feeling full
When I dish up what I cook,
which is often quite crappy

The snow has nearly all gone
I am so sad to see
It was so pretty here earlier
When I first saw it I was so full of glee

The children rushed out
With a great mighty shout
To make a snowman and throw lumps
Til they got cold and the grumps

In they came for a mug of hot tea
A bath and warm clothes
Soon made them happee
Indoors they stayed, the best place to be

OOh I love you all so much
and the lovely rhyming touch
its so good to be back here
to see everything more clear!

when I have had food to eat
I will give you each a seat
