I am back from shopping in town
Can you see my great big frown
Treats for the kids I did buy
But the price of them has made me cry

Washing to sort, polishing to be done
Yet I am sat here on my bum
This will not do, I must away
And I'll see you later in the day

So much for me finishing early
one of the team was so surly
every thing that she so done
we had to do another run!

and then I come on in here
to my friends who are so dear
and forum is so bliddy slow
It takes ages for post to go!

so now I am going to eat
and put up my tired feet
I have a chilli for dinner
which I hope will be a winner!

Mince I threw in the pan
but I got no onions man!
Lloyd Grossman chilli sauce
and microwave rice of course!

I know I am being lazy
but everything is hazy
too tired to dine out
or even buy a shout!

see you later on I expect
and I will try to recollect
my weekend away with Niece
and share with you a piece!

BAGEL AND NIECE MIMI IN ITALY

we flew early in the morning
and we were both still yawning
as we checked our luggage in
in the airports shute bin

when we landed at Roma Fiumicino
I thought of romantic Valentino
as Mimi my Niece began to cry
"oh Auntie..theres Danny oh my"!

My nephew was there to meet us
and he did make such a big fuss
of Mimi his lovely twin sister so
their faces were a happy glow

They lost there mama last year
my elder brother a widower dear
anyway I must not please digress
can this another day address?

we drove a long way to Siena
142 miles...as long as a tenor!
and when we got there I was mad
mimis workshop cancelled..she sad

oh anyway her main one was still on
so next day I thrust myself upon
the many shops for a big spree
but brought nowt for lil ole me!

I must be getting sensible so
coz its not like me to go
all the way to Designer Italy
and not have a spending spree!

or could it be I am happy in self
and dont need to buy from shelf
and shelf of designer clothes
from my head to my toes

whatever it may be does not matter
my world did not break and shatter
but I tel you something my honey
I did narth save some money!!

Part two another time

off for a shower and bed
to lay down my weary head
brought two new pillows today
so I must pop over and say
to community last things bought
I do think that I really ought!

No! last thing was an icecream bar
anyway community to bliddy far
to walk to this time of the night
too dark..may get involved in a fight!

A mile - that was with a chum

Then home I came and started well
Spring cleaning so the house don't smell
Lunch time arrived and so did son
Complete with daughter for some fun

Of course lunch then I had to make
They finished with a piece of cake
And so you see I've not been slack
And totally kept myself on track
